About the enterprise

"Grodno Mechanical Plant" joint stock company is a chemical machine-building enterprise. It is part of the Belarusian State Oil and Chemistry Concern "Belneftekhim". Its target product is non-standard tank equipment and metalwork made to single, short -run and serial orders. At present "Grodno Mechanical Plant" joint stock company is a modern enterprise with working area of 18000 м2, with modern manufacturing equipment.
The plant has two certificates of conformance for managing the quality system of designing and manufacturing truck tanks and motor transport carriers for transporting food and oil products – ISO 9001 – 2001, and for managing the environment – ISO 14001 – 2005. Soon there will be acquired a third one – ISO 18001 (managing) the protection of lab our system. This not only contributes to increase of authority of the “Grodno Mechanical Plant” joint stock company, but also provides high level of working conditions for the staff.
Today at the plat they continue the reconstruction of their manufacturing methods, as well as of the manufactured machines. The first stage of manufacturing modernization at the machine-assembly department was com­pleted. There was received new Italian shaping equipment, such as f larger and press for making torospherical bottoms. Nowadays the "Grodno Mechanical Plant" joint stock company is able to provide for the enterprises of the concern with such bottoms having 15 mm thick walls and the diameter of up to 3 m. Also they offer flanged flat bottoms with the diameter of up to 3 m and having up to 10 mm thick walls.
After the new equipment was installed not only new products were mastered, but also new technologies were applied to the existing constructions.The advantage of the Grodno Mechani­cal Plant is that they have an engineering department of their own and all the manu­factured products are being designed right there. That is why they can design and cre­ate unique products.
For promoting their products the "Grod­no Mechanical Plant" joint stock company take active part in various exhibitions. Last year the enterprise visited exhibitions held in Baku (Azerbaidjan), Astana (Kazakhstan), Caracas (Venezuela). At present active work is lead with possible customers from these countries. Russia is still the main customer of the enterprise.
For satisfaction of needs of chemical industry, machine-building and compressor-making, the "Grodno Mechanical Plant" joint stock company in cooperation with the Insti­tute of Metal-Polymeric Mechanics Named after Bely and the Republicam Unitary En­terprise "Svetlogorskoe PO "Khimvolokno" created a new composite material on the basis of fluorocarbon polymer F-4 and coal material "Viscum", which got the brand name of "Fluvis". The material surpasses "Flubon" in many characteristics and is widely used for compressor-making and in defense industry in Russia for making fighters MiG (МиГ).
Yearly the plant masters about 8 new products, which correspond to the interna­tional requirements on roads. At the stage of preparation the products are tested in ac­cordance with the international requirements of the ECE UNO and others, the products are certified.
The plant's production is very popular and is in demand due to its high quality.
